MCP Vehicles Tools

Look up DfT licensed vehicle stock, compare MOT pass rates, or identify common failure reasons. DfT and DVSA data is reused under the Open Government Licence v3.0.

Each call costs 10 credits. All tools are read-only and idempotent.

Data Coverage

DfT licensing stock covers GB from 1994 Q4 and UK from 2014 Q3, refreshed quarterly. MOT results cover test year 2025. DfT road traffic covers 1993–2025, with count-point AADF from 2000, in vehicles/day; regional and local-authority totals are vehicle miles and should be presented rounded to the nearest million. Link-level AADF figures are modelled estimates, not continuous measurements: most count points are counted manually once and factored.
