Look up Ofgem energy price-cap rates and DESNZ annual local-authority electricity and gas consumption. Data is reused under the Open Government Licence v3.0.
Each tool call costs 10 credits. Both tools are read-only and idempotent.

Data Coverage
Source: Ofgem default tariff cap levels.
Coverage: Announced standard-variable default-tariff periods for England, Scotland, and Wales, including payment-method and 14 electricity-region variations. Northern Ireland and multi-rate tariffs are excluded.
Licence: Open Government Licence v3.0.
Caveats: The price cap applies to standard variable tariffs and caps unit rates plus standing charges, not the total bill.
DESNZ consumption: Great Britain LA electricity and weather-corrected gas, 2013–2024. Values are returned in kWh and meter counts. Annual releases can revise history.
Fuel-poverty tool decision: LSOA fuel-poverty data is served through the paginated REST endpoint; a dedicated MCP tool is deferred until an agent workflow requires it.
Prompt decision: No energy prompt is registered: consumption lookup is a direct retrieval task and does not require a multi-step prompt workflow.
